After searching for the perfect housewarming gift for a friend, I found this carafe on the recommendation of my roommate (a wine lover and self-proclaimed sommelier). My girlfriend is very fond of red wine, so I thought it would really up her game of a late-night [pinot] noir. My first appreciation was the packaging which was lovely (tasteful) and very protective, oh and did I mention it arrived IN ONE DAY! The lifetime guarantee is also nice. The hardest part for me was sorting through the many decanter options, but after a little research and reading some of the more detailed reviews I settled on this one. The rubber stopper that came with it seemed a bit unnecessary to me, but I can see how useful it can be for storage. Overall I was very impressed with this decanter and happy with my purchase. I know my boyfriend loves it too! I'll be sure to check out some of the other products Vintorio has to offer as the holiday season is fast approaching and my extended Italian family is opening bottles like it's their job!
