Considering the discount offered, it was very profitable. AAA batteries are not included (requires 2) so have them handy. You will need a small Phillips screwdriver to remove one screw and access the battery compartment. Works fine, went through all the functions and used a voltmeter. Nice big, easy to read numbers. The center pillar below is grounded (black). I had to read a little booklet to be sure as it is not marked on the face. The probes are a decent wire length and come with caps to protect the pins and sharp probes, just gently pry them up. Although it's only been a day, longevity has yet to be determined. Haven't tested the light yet and tried if there's a backlight (it's supposed to be).
