Faulty spool fits spool

Ordered a part for a complete engine overhaul. It took several days to receive other parts ordered by other sellers. Upon completion of the restoration and installation in the car, it was discovered that the coil was not working. The unit appeared to be in good condition and the brackets fitted correctly. Testing found the primary and secondary coils to be out of range (ohms). When this was discovered, the item was no longer returnable. Live and learn I guess.
