I bought a portable swamp fridge for $185 (about the size of a star wars r2 d2). It had all sorts of issues but luckily I was able to return it and get a refund. A fraction of the price, this cooler blows colder air than the larger one. When there is only water in the compartment, very cool air blows. If you put ice in it, it will be even colder. Note: Due to its size, it does not cool the entire room. but as a personal cooler it's great. The only downside for me is that the water compartment doesn't slide out all the way, so you have to put very small ice cubes in it. And it's loud, but it's "white noise" and you get used to it.
