This replaced the original flasher relay on a 1982 Corvette. This is a direct replacement, no modifications are required. This allowed me to replace all the old lightbulbs with much brighter LEDs. The 38-year-old lightbulbs that still worked were very dim and barely visible at dawn and dusk when the sun shines in your eyes. Now that each bulb has been replaced it is very noticeable with brighter light still true to the original colors. Order yellow for the front turn signals and front turn signals and of course red for the tail lights and rear turn signals. Colors are bright and easy to see. This flasher relay adjusts when you add bulbs. And it won't blink normally until you switch all the bulbs to LEDs. If you mixed regular bulbs, this will turn off the relay. Once your bulbs are 100% LED, the relay will adjust the timing in the flashing sequence.
