So I have a No-Mar manual tire changer and recently changed tires on my ST-1300. The OEM tires are Bridgestone "Battlax" tires and they have an extremely stiff sidewall. The front worked fine but I struggled to get a second bead in the back. I've tried all the tricks - lots of grease, wooden blocks to keep the bead in the groove, a ratchet strap to keep the tire firmly on the wheel. This failed. I was ready to give up when I decided to buy these mounts. (Pay for tire fitting or take the bike to the dealer to get it done.) The tire changer worked great. I didn't even use plastic rim protectors. I got the last 18 inches or so of the bead over the rim and was done. Big relief. Definitely recommend
