Without being a hairdresser it is difficult to objectively evaluate this purchase. PROS: Good for a quick haircut along the hairline when there is no one to do it for you. I like that the blades are sharp and easy to change. As strong as you would expect from plastic. Strong enough to control the blade. I didn't have the courage to cut my hair with a razor, but I'm sure an experienced person could do it with this tool. CONS: It would be a bit easier to change blades. Yes, I would buy it again and recommend it to a friend.
