I bought them because they were cheap. My local supplier has increased the price by 5-6x its cost. I love buying US made Milton and I don't mind paying 2x or 3x for product from places that produce good quality and have no human rights abuses. But these days losing the rights had a financial impact on me so I made a compromise and bought them even though you know where they were made. The quality is definitely acceptable, although the finish isn't as smooth as the Milton. They seem to seal fairly well with the sleeve so I bought a male thread as well. I actually accidentally ordered them female but can use them for hose extensions and other stuff in the store. For 50 cents each, you can't go wrong. I think they can use a 14mm wrench, but a standard 9/16" wrench will fit loosely once installed. I removed a star for edge coverage and custom hex size. However good value for money.
