Review on πŸ”Œ TUODAW Solar Panel Adapter Cable with Anderson Powerpole Connectors: 1-to-2 Power Split, Battery Charger Kit, Extension Cable by Andrew Vogel

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good range of generators and portable power supplies

One of the expensive parts of working with solar panels is converting between all the different types of connectors, be it adapters like this one or making your own connectors. One of the most common for me is adapting a standard solar panel (MC4) to DC, used for relatively low power applications like portable power stations. There are also Anderson adapters in this set and they are pretty good. The MC4 cable has been slightly rough cut and has a small notch in the rubber cover. It's small enough to be ok, but more of what I would do than a professional product. You should also note that the cables are 14 gauge rather than the typical MC4 10 gauge, but that should be fine for the voltages used with these adapters. In short, a good set of practical adapters.

Pros
  • Solar and wind power
Cons
  • Expensive
