You have to have this bottle! Maybe not "required". but definitely the best shaker I've ever used. Makes protein shakes super smooth with no lumps and only takes 10-15 seconds. I also take BCAAs which are a much grainier mix and I love that this shaker makes it easy to remix the larger particles that inevitably end up at the bottom of the bottle. Quality is not a problem. Maybe not the thickest of plastic, but I totally disagree with another review that it feels cheap. Easy cleaning: just add some water and a drop of washing-up liquid, switch on the blender, let it foam up a little and rinse. ready! The only drawback (for me) is the powder capsule. It's too small to hold two scoops of protein powder. It won't be a problem if you take one scoop per serving, but if I'm taking this to the gym I'll need to bring a pre-measured protein blend zip as well. The bonus with no pod installed is I can pour more water into the bottle and because it makes the shakes so nice and smooth I like to drink as much as I can so an extra 2-4 oz is definitely welcome.
