Review on Bestauto Secondary Driven Clutch 1985 2007 by Niranjan Reynolds

Revainrating 1 out of 5

The rubber/plastic tips melted on first use. Support only in the form of returns.

Installation isn't too bad but I'm a mechanic by trade and you need a puller to pull the old clutch off. They make a spring compression tool for installation, but you can do without it, it's just not as easy. The product itself works but the rubber/plastic tips melted almost immediately and now the cart is very grippy and bounces a lot. The grip is strong now and you lose the top string, but it pulls well, just slower. Suitable for work or pallet truck use, but not for games where speed is required. Customer service is fast but not helpful. I contacted them about melting rubber plastic tips and sent pictures just for more detailed installation instructions. I don't need help installing it, but ok. In the end I would probably go with a higher quality clutch as I don't think it will last long as it fails almost immediately. My guess is that the support is in another country and the service will be lost due to the transfer. The product is cheap and cheap. You get what you pay for.

Pros
  • Easy Installation: To use this Yamaha Driver's Clutch you will need a clutch puller to help you remove your current clutch and as it is bolted on you will not need a weight link kit or pins for installation. .
Cons
  • Mostly ok but...
