Review on πŸ”’ Convenient and Secure HAIFUAN Digital Door Lock: Unlock with Remote Control, M1 Card, Code, and Key, Reversible Handle Direction by Mike Larkin

Not bad with some quirks

The lock looks well built. Has some quirks that might make it usable for its intended purpose. I would like to say that I use this lock as the front door lock for a 32 room boutique hotel. Bought additional $25 keychains for 100 of them here, they work great. Just search for YARONGTECH RFID 13.5MHZ ISO14443A MIFARE Classic 1K Key Fob Token Color Black 100pcs So far I only had 1 issue with the inside door handle stuck in the down position. I loosened the whole lock and I think I fixed it. Overtightening is sometimes possible when installing door locks. Quirk 1. It's not easy to put the lock in passive mode if no key fob or code is used to access the lock. If you're using it for a hotel like me, guests will try to open the door with the key fob, and if it's in passive mode, placing the key fob on the door lock will simply put the lock back into locked mode will try to lock/unlock it. Quirk 2: You cannot use codes that are less than 6 digits long. I had an old 4 digit code and that code can no longer be used on this lock as it has to be at least 6 digits long. Quirk 3. The instructions say that the lock can be opened 200 times with a set of batteries!? It doesn't seem often. I'm still on my 1st set of batteries and can't wait to see how long they last. PROFESSIONAL. With the wireless remote control, I can keep the door locked and unlock it from reception when guests arrive at the front door. You can fix the remote control under the tabletop or in a specific place with double-sided tape. I will update this review in about a month.
