This installation is worth its weight in gold
I ride a Honda Shadow 1100 and the exhaust pipes even with the shields on we're getting too hot for me. I actually melted a plastic zipper on one of my boots against the front pipe. It was very easy to install this exhaust insulation and what a difference it has made. You can pretty much lay your hand on this insulation with a hot exhaust and not get burned although it does get hot. Not nearly as hot as before I installed this. I put my heat shields back on the pipes and now this motorcycle is comfortable to ride without the fear I'm melting my shoes.
