Good basic reference level meter, good safety for your hearing
Fast response time just means the reading is constantly changing rapidly. only negative! It would be nice if it had a slow response setting averaging a few seconds for each reading. All in all a great hearing protection tool in my music room for detecting guitar peak levels (turn the volume down!) lol
