I think it works. There is great confidence in anti-static guns and records that they really do what they are supposed to do. There's no sound (if you hear a click when you pull or release the trigger, then you're doing it too quickly), there's no light, and nothing else to indicate you're actually removing static. However, I've seen videos showing how they actually eliminate static electricity, which is very important if you're serious about keeping your records clean. My only problem is the price: a hundred dollars? Since there aren't many other devices of this type on the market, I often wonder if that's a fair price or a huge premium because, hey, what else are you going to do?
