The chair has good features that can be adjusted manually with screws. It's not a $1,000 chair with a lever to adjust everything. What is - the lower handle of the retractable seat, which locks the height and tilt. The armrest pads only slide forward/backward and do not lean outward/inward. The height adjustment has a wider range than other chairs. Good quality seat fabric. The seat cushion smelled very strongly of chemicals for a few weeks until the foam was completely deflated. It suits me and my needs, plus being able to move the bottom of the seat for my back position is nice. Assembly is very easy, I just used the instructions to identify the screws for each part. It comes with a hex wrench but if you have a 10mm/12mm ratchet or 5mm hex head and a short extension it will be easier to tighten all the bolts. If you assembled the chair before assembling it, the process is the same. Literally 15-20 minutes assembly from unboxing to joining the meeting. Cardboard packaging was excellent, no damage or breakage. My other choice was the HON chair but it wasn't as low as this chair in case other smaller family members needed to use it.
