Review on Audi A3 S3 A4 S4 A6 A6L S6 A8 S8 RS4 RS6 Q7 Rear View Camera by Henry Johnston

Revainrating 4 out of 5

This block fits perfectly in the license plate light. I don't know why people complained about something.

Fits as expected with minimal modifications. My car is a 2003 Audi A4 1.8T FWD (B6) which was on the compatibility list. The only mod I had to implement was to drill a hole big enough to go through the ends of the power and video jacks and connect a wire or two and then route them to the main unit. To do this, however, the interior panels must be removed. Otherwise, this unit fits perfectly into the license plate light. I'm not sure why people have complained about anything and here are some facts. 1) This is an aftermarket unit. Don't expect everything to work. 2) You need to modify your car a little and put in some effort and work. This is also a non-original device. 3) The quality of the camera is decent. This is not a 4K HDTV. The only problem I had, and that's just my ass, is that the camera angle is pointing too far down. It would be nice if the angle was adjustable or the camera body pointed a few degrees up in the next version. Otherwise it's a decent product that outperforms others because it fits the bore as intended so it really looks integrated into the car. .
