I somehow lost the instructions but the blender was easy to assemble and use. What attracted me was the cute bear. What can I say? When I was presented with several options but had no idea about the brands, I settled on the one with a cartoon. My goal: mix vegetables for soup. I like to make large batches, but in the past, hot soup would flow out the top of too strong a blender and I'd get scalded. Not to mention the walls. Solution #1: Find a blender with less power. It worked for a while but the blender motor eventually stopped working. Cheap mixer = cheap motor. I rarely use a blender, but when it breaks during storage I get very frustrated. Solution #2: Try a personal blender like Bear. Oddly enough, even though it took several batches, at least some spills spilled on the counter and not on me. If you are using a blender, be sure to screw the lid on before placing it on the motor unit. When I first installed it in the base I didn't realize it wasn't fully tightened. Luckily the mixing stopped pretty quickly and very little was spilled. I really like the screw cap. Large blenders used to only be vacuum packed, and they were bad. Also, make sure the arrows match, otherwise it won't run. Please note I had a huge pot of liquid and veggies to mix. Although I had to refill at least 5 times, each mix took 30 seconds. or less and I was done in 10 minutes. Wow. It is wonderful. I love it.
