They correspond exactly to the description. They take the weight off your neck and transfer it to the backpack's straps. I wear the camera strap around my neck and then shorten the Think Tank straps so there is no weight on the strap. If I need to take the camera off, the dog leash clips are easy to use and the camera still hangs securely around my neck with the strap. Shortening and lengthening the Think Tank straps is also quick and easy. The only downside is that they require attachment points on the backpack.
