For the price I paid for this system, the value is amazing. I bought one for each of my machines, they took about 1.5 to install and run the relay, new wires and all set up. If your key has a chip, you will need additional parts to make the remote start part work. I didn't need it, which simplified the installation. As already mentioned, neither "installation instructions" nor a circuit diagram are included. It comes with a list of what each wire does, but that's it. I highly recommend that you have this professionally installed if you are unfamiliar or unfamiliar with vehicle wiring. The relay circuit is designed for a negative pulse door lock system. A bitwriter is also handy but not required, it can be programmed with a valet button and key fob. One thing that annoys me is that it doesn't come with a remote LED. If you are comfortable you can solder it to the circuit board where the LED is installed and plug it into the dashboard. Overall a fantastic product for the money. The range is good too, working up to about 300 feet inside a building.
