Do not work. - Aquarium pumps and filters
I have an AquaClear 30 filter that seems to fit. It really did absolutely nothing to eliminate the ammonia levels in my 30 gallon tank. I have 20 fish (two big angels and gourami, the rest are small barbs and neons). I vacuum every other day and change 25% of the water every other day, but the ammonia levels remain from "harmful" to "dangerous". Not understood but so far no change after 8 weeks of use with these filters being changed every ten days. At least the fish, although visibly excited, seem to have survived.
