I bought this because I didn't want to worry about a dead battery, especially when I'm traveling for photography or short film. I had to play around with it because I found it was more than just a battery replacement. Firstly, not only can you put two batteries in the slot, but they also send you another slot for AA batteries. To ensure you don't lose the original tab that covers your camera's battery, Neewer designed this product with a small storage compartment so it never gets lost. I can also change the aperture and also take a photo by pressing the button on the bottom of the device, without doing it on the camera of course. I have a Canon T3i and was concerned when I fixed the replacement as I didn't think it would fit snugly enough, but it does the job, shows battery usage and fits snugly. Overall this product was a great investment, especially for the price. This adds a little heavier weight to my camera, but it's still a great investment, especially if you're worried about battery percentage when traveling.
