Made in China. So let's see how long it lasts. The design differs from a standard Ford OEM part. But the part fit well. I give 3 stars to start with. Just installed today. Will increase its rating to 4 stars if it lasts a year. When he turns 3 years old, upgrade him to 5 stars. The part doesn't look as solid as a Ford OEM part. I'm tough on this particular part as it's a pain to remove and replace. And to uninstall and reinstall this part, I think it needs to be made more rigid. I saw other reviews that said the part took a few days or a few months to fail. I bet the people who will have better luck with this product don't live in the north of the country where the climate temperature can go from one extreme to the other. The time will show. One more comment: I was pretty sure all Dorman parts/products are made in the USA. I don't think that's the case anymore.
