First of all. It's a small setup with a ridiculously small oxygen tank. I realized I bought it. The mapp gas valve requires some fiddling to get the right flame. Just remember to add some fuel every time you try to light it up. Add oxygen until the flame doubles in size, then turn the mapp down until you get a very nice dense blue flame about 3/4 inch long. It took twice as long to solder than my usual build, but the freedom from heavy tanks is worth it. These are my first two test tubes. Yes, a bit clumsy, but passed the exam! You need to be a little more patient to get a nice cherry red color. However, it works and the joints are fine!
