This is a reliable tool! Simply put, if your goal is to quickly drill a hole in wood, this is your bit. If your goal is to drill to a certain depth and then stop, this may not be the best choice. The center screw turns quickly and pulls the drill into the wood without speed control. This can be dangerous if you do not have a good grip on the drill or if you do not pry properly, e.g. B. when hanging from a ladder or working in an awkward position. If I were to use a corded drill and drill through studs around the house my first choice would be hands down. I've used it to poke through a driftwood just an inch or two and then stop and it's impossible. ADVICE. If you need to slow the chisel down, take a grinder and trim the edges of the bolt a bit and you'll still have a sharp, fast chisel. but have speed control.
