Review on 🔇 Fractal Design Silent Series R2 140mm Cooling Fan: Efficient and Quiet Cooling Solution by John Gray

I still love the two 5 year old R2 fans (140mm) in my 2014 Fractal Design Define R4 case. They were calm and reliable. A 120mm fan from another but reputable manufacturer recently failed so I replaced it and added a fourth R2 fan. My R4 case is now quieter than before even though the 4 fans are moving more air. The fans individually don't move as much air at the 5 volt setting (the 5, 7, and 12 volt settings are available through the chassis fan controls), but the 4 fans move at the 5 volt setting enough so the chassis stays close to room temperature. . I assume that the new fans will run smoothly for many years.
