How to make the most of normally unused space! My husband installed them in my closet using some plaster-friendly anchors and a plain shelf section we got from an ill-fated set of floating shelves. Although I only use the shelf for light items (it's not the best shelf), these brackets are small but sturdy and great for belt hangers! I always have trouble keeping track of my belts; I generally just keep them on a hanger, which then requires me to take a few off to get the one I want (which always seems to be underneath). These sturdy guys hold my straps well and I can attach one to each hook so I don't have to juggle removing the bundle to get to the one I need. They are good quality and have a great finish that won't snag on your scarves or anything else you want to hang from. My only minor issue is that I wish they came in a metallic finish like bronze or nickel instead of white - they would fit better into my wardrobe and look less utilitarian. However, they are very useful and can be colored (I haven't done this, but it's doable). Most importantly, they are sturdy and help solve the storage problem I've had for years without taking up extra space. A great idea!
