I probably made a mistake by not reading carefully but I was surprised to find that they are plastic. So I'm suspicious of durability, but as you can see I'm installing them in my workshop. Yes they are for closets but I love the workshop hooks. Note that all you have to do is screw them to the studs and you're done. You can put Molly in drywall, but in my experience it's never very fun or effective. Sit on the stilettos and you have a strong connection.

These cabinet brackets are not bad but not as good as I thought they would be. I did not see the product page before receiving this item or writing this review, so it is difficult to compare what is expected of a product and its performance. The only info I have is that it supports 25lbs. So using two brackets (one at each end of the shelf) should hold 50 pounds right? Or not? I'm not entirely sure about these - certainly not safe enough to put in a child's closet where the little "extra storage" space is used and not managed properly. It's pretty strong plastic, but these parts are so small I can see a pull on a shirt or coat hanger and you're done. The brackets are too small for a small closet.
