Review on Fiebings 100 Pure Neatsfoot Oil by Ashley Branch

A few years ago I bought a Bible that a naval officer bought aboard the USS California during World War II in Australia, wrapped it in a 1948 newspaper and kept it in a trunk in the attic of his house until the end for more than sixty years. The Bible was in excellent condition but the genuine leather was dry, faded and hard. I bought a bottle of this oil and started applying its layer to my skin. I applied it and let it sit four or five times over a period of several months. Once I took it out of the box to apply another coat and I was just amazed at the softness and elasticity of the skin. The deep blackness was back and it looked and felt like new. This Bible was bound in the early 1940's, no doubt bought in 1943, receipt was still in the box so it's eighty years old but now it looks and feels brand new. That's great. Get some pure neatsfoot oil. Your skin will simply be absorbed and become part of the skin.
