This light-hearted novel was a pleasure to read. The storyline is pleasantly familiar β who hasn't ended up heartbroken or helping a friend through a tough breakup? β and you will cheer for Jane like a friend. You don't have to be a knitter to fully understand the story; Patricia and Adam did a great job incorporating knitting into the story without excluding readers who don't knit. If you are a knitter, you will enjoy this story even more. not to mention patterns! As a knitter living in the Hoboken area, Patricia's Yarns is my local yarn shop; It was fun getting to know all the shops, bars, restaurants, parks and streets that Curse of the Boyfriend Sweater is set in. The importance of place in the book is strong. If you're like me, you'll end up seeing Hoboken as just another character in the book. Patricia and Adam have written a fascinating book that promises to continue to bring me joy as I work on its plans.
