This year I was terrorized by mosquitoes covered in bites from head to toe. It was so bad that I ended up buying this thing. I have it in my bedroom where I also have a computer desk and I have placed it on a desk 3 feet from me. It's been working almost non-stop for a little over a month now. I sit in the dark at night with nothing on but the TV and the humidifier. The flickering blue light is cool, I agree, but my opponents didn't like it. Yesterday I finally opened up the device for the first time just to find ZERO trapped mosquitoes or something. Luckily the weather is starting to cool off so haven't seen anything else in the last week or so but can't say I'd recommend it. I have to say the price was great, shipping was fast and the item arrived in good condition, however it just didn't work as described. If you're in a similar situation, I would recommend sleeping in pajamas that cover you as much as possible and rubbing some skin cream or homemade natural insect repellent wherever you are uncovered.
