Review on LORDTEX Dark Grey Divider Curtains by Andy Mitts

No sound buffering and light leaks through

I bought this unit hoping it would provide some sound buffering between top and bottom. Hanging them all closed at the bottom of the stairs. An estimated 10 foot width for a 3 foot wide ladder at least provides some budget for the folded fabric. The curtains are of decent weight and fabric. It looks better than its price, the color is a nice neutral khaki/taupe, just for that I gave 2 stars. To block light or sound? ZERO stars. They shouldn't even mention it on the packaging. Yes, there is a power outage. But if I bought them for the nursery so my child would sleep during the day, I would be furious. My son stood at the top of the stairs and whispered something. I heard him clearly on the other side of the curtain at the bottom of the stairs. Pooh. The moment I started hanging them and saw the light coming through the fabric, I knew they weren't going to help. So now I can buy earplugs to increase the sound buffering. Holds the curtain but is not satisfied with the purchase.
