They cost more than the cheap flooring you can buy at your local store, but it's worth it. I wanted covers in my new car to protect the floor/carpet and keep it as clean and as new as possible. These WeatherBeaters cover the entire area from edge to edge and stay in place - they don't slip or slide like the cheap ones. One of the reasons they stay in place is probably because they fill the space and are as form-fitting as possible; Another reason is that they have grommets/holes that allow you to attach them to your car floor with a floor mat hook. If your vehicle came with floor mats already attached to hooks, you must remove those mats before installing WeatherBeaters. I took mine off, vacuumed them very thoroughly then put them in a box for future reference so if I ever decide to sell my car I can put them back and they will look like new. As said, WeatherBeater completely cover the entire floor area. The one for the driver's area even covers the dead pedal area! This was a great advantage for me. And the one for the back seat even covers a small ledge in the center of the car, between two areas of the floor. This is a solid piece so even the sides of the bar are protected. I am very happy with my WeatherBeaters. They also look really good because they are so form fitting - so it looks like the bottom of the car has been done. And they make floor care much easier. The channels are deep enough to keep dirt inside and wide enough to make cleaning easier. If the channels were narrow, dirt would be more likely to get stuck and be more difficult to remove. But these are good, wide-open channels, so it's no problem to just pick everything up at once - and even if there's something sticky that doesn't get sucked up right away, the wide channels make it easier to wipe away dirt. If you want your floors to stay protected and looking like new, you want the flooring that protects them to look good and you appreciate not having to work hard to keep them clean and looking good, then invest in several WeatherBeaters.
