Review on Efficient Aeration with Eheim Air Pump 400 by Heidi Ramirez

I bought this unit to use some sponge filters in my 180g freshwater aquarium. The stand is over 3 feet off the ground and the tank itself is 2 feet tall. The overall height from where I have the pump to the top of the tank is 5 feet. It works very well and creates good airflow. I used my own stones so I can't comment on the quality of the included airstones (although they look like they are high quality). My only complaint (and the only reason I didn't give 5 stars) is that it was VERY noisy when I tried to hang it on the back of my stand. The sound almost disappears when I put it on the bottom of the stand. The suspension mechanism is a bit cumbersome and doesn't help reduce the sound.
