Use it, don't fish where there aren't any.

I like to mainly fish for bass and this works well when there are no limbs sticking out of the water or other cover. even if there is no fish at this time, there probably will be soon. I have a perch with me but I caught a few catfish, at this depth you can find big catfish hanging out to you and baited feeding and the bingo fights have started. lol it's fun to use, you can look for fish while waiting for a bite so it's fun while you wait and you don't want to end up where there are no fish anyway. GOOD LUCK FISHING. lol
