The fish are afraid of me, laughed a little

fishing with wave marks made me very happy. I got carried away by the temperature and depth of the water. Hey David! Look, yellow submarine.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • boring packaging

Lightweight sonar, the best in marine electronics

Bought this for my grandkids for their 16th birthday. He lives to fish! I will give it to him for his birthday on October 11th. I can't tell how it works or how good it is until he uses it.

Pros
  • The best in the niche
Cons
  • Update availability

Use it, don't fish where there aren't any.

I like to fish mostly bass and it works well where there are no limbs sticking out of the water or other hiding places. I also catch catfish. even if there is no fish at this time, there probably will be soon. I have a perch with me but I caught a couple of catfish, at this depth you can find big catfish hanging right on them and baiting them and the bingo fights have started. lol it's fun to use, you can look for fish while waiting for a bite so it's fun while waiting and you don't want to end

Pros
  • good stuff
Cons
  • a few bits and pieces

The best return on your money.

Depth was within a few inches. The water temperature was a little high (4 degrees) but that may be due to the top of the unit being out of the water and into the sun. Very easy to use. It was about 5 minutes from the box to the water. Mainly because I read the instructions. Love it.

Pros
  • Angle of View 90º
Cons
  • No

An interesting way to find out what's downstairs.

Easy to install and use. I like the display of contours, depth and water temperature. The only thing that worries me is that when I slowly return to shore, the depth is greater than it really is. I've only tested this once and will have to try changing the sensitivity settings. I love it and can't wait to ride it on the lake.

Pros
  • Cordless and portable
Cons
  • Available in black only

Works great and is fun

I attached this to a cheap rod to cast out anywhere or keep close by when I was out on the boat trolling with it; mine is John's boat. Fish alarm and water temperature. works perfectly. Fish size and tag for different fish are displayed. In shallow water (less than 4ft) the depth isn't accurate but it does register the bottom and plants, but I didn't quite get what the roughness and smoothness of the bottom in the gauge meant. Can't beat the price, it works and we have fish for it!

Pros
  • 2.2" LCD
Cons
  • Hard to tell
