I like to fish mostly bass and it works well where there are no limbs sticking out of the water or other hiding places. I also catch catfish. even if there is no fish at this time, there probably will be soon. I have a perch with me but I caught a couple of catfish, at this depth you can find big catfish hanging right on them and baiting them and the bingo fights have started. lol it's fun to use, you can look for fish while waiting for a bite so it's fun while waiting and you don't want to end up where there are no fish anyway.
