This slide is too small, very small. I took the advice of other reviewers and ordered two sizes larger than my son normally wears. He is a size 7 and I ordered a size 9. The shoes are a bit short but otherwise they fit well. He will only wear them at the pool and beach; so they should be fine. They are not glued or sewn together like some of the more expensive brands. They are a one piece construction. Our experience with these more expensive established brands is limited. Well-known brands peel off and no special glue can fix them. I think these will last a long time.
