Backup for PC not working

I had to return this product. The iPhone and iPad backup feature works fine, but I connected it to my router with an Ethernet cable and tried to back up my Documents folder to my PC. backing up subfolders, so it was useless to me. I've exchanged several emails with SSK support, they said it should work but it doesn't.

Pros
