This knee pad was a controversial product for me. Ultimately, the positives don't just make up for the shortcomings. I'll start by saying I never machine wash this brace, not even on the gentle cycle. Hand wash only. After one (1) wash and zero (0) dry cycles, the adhesion quality was poor. From there I had to either be very precise and find a middle ground on a velcro friendly surface or complement it with a velcro strap. Actually had to replace the top hook closure flap with a worn spacer with a tackier loop design. With that I say goodbye to my warranty claim. I'm to blame for the machine wash. Although I don't remember the now illegible care label that said no machine washing. If I'm wrong, then it's my fault. Okay, we got rid of all these waves of negativity. Now let's promote this product, shall we? I salute the engineers behind this bracket. My knee works on the free side and needs to be stabilized. My work involves standing, walking, sudden changes of direction and kneeling. Exodus accomplished every task my work could accomplish. Their four strap design is perfect for addressing the pressure issue of kneeling. The lycra sleeve was a great addition too. The Exodus offered superior lateral support compared to any other corset I've tried over the years. The fit was also perfect for me. I like the fact that the bracket is bigger. this. higher on the thigh and lower on the lower leg. The initial problem for me was heat build-up. Even on hot active days, this knee brace has never made my knee rise. While the durability may not be quite what I was hoping for, this is the best knee brace I have ever used. Given the condition of my current Exodus Knee Brace, I would like to purchase another one. Just sooner than I had hoped. At least no need to go shopping as I will definitely buy this product again.
