For making jellies and puddings. Much better than using small spice cups, especially for pudding. I've never tried washing and reusing them so can't speak to durability, but they seem to be reusable a few times. difficult to fill by pulling the plunger. The first time I used them, I removed the pistons and used a piping bag to fill them from the back once the custard had set. The second time I bought and used them I knew I had to work fast and was able to fill almost all of them before the pudding got too hard.
