Bought and when I received them the frames are not as strong as the ones I usually buy and the filter mesh is too tight. After installation, the frame appears to be flexed, causing air to leak out the sides and causing a whistling noise from the return. Then I tried to seal the cracks with tape. This made the HVAC work harder to force air through the filters, creating a high-pitched, howling noise so loud we had to turn up the volume on the TV to hear people talking on the TV. Went out and bought our regular Home Depot Filtrete filters (with the red label on the box) and all the noise was gone. Now I'm Stuck With 5 Horrible Filters I Won't Use! waste of money!
