Review on 18 Colors HIMI Gouache Paints Set - Non Toxic Art Supplies For Professionals, Student & More (Pink Case) by Joe Daniels

My main medium is watercolor, but I recently leaned about gouache and wanted to give it a go. I needed a beginner friendly set to start me off, but didn’t want paint that would make me dislike the medium entirely. This set is great and absolutely affordable for the quality you get. I was afraid it may be too sheer if I bought a paint that wasn’t high quality enough. But this set is just perfect for what I’m looking for. In the first picture I was testing different ways of working with this paint. It took a few tries to get something I liked, so don’t mind the few mistakes on the page. At the top right you can see a blue eye, that test was my favorite and I decided on sticking with that technique. I tried again as you can see the eye right beside it, it didn’t turn out exactly the same and I still like the blue one better. I’m gonna need some practice to get it down but if I can you can! In the second picture is another attempt at different blending techniques. I also wanted to see how opaque the white was over color. After a couple coats it was fully covered. Overall a great paint set.
