Before I bought this product, I had never tried gouache before. I mainly use watercolor when I paint and I am happy to say that I’ve found a new favorite. I love how easy to work with and versatile this product is. I really love these paints! They're real nice quality and theres so much paint within each container that they'll probably last you a long while. I just got mine the other day so i cant say how they hold up long term, but as of right now they're great for a beginner like me. Got these at a huge deal (around $12) last year. Honestly, I enjoy the consistency and workability of these more than my fancy professional set of M Graham gouache. You get lots of paint and won't feel like you have to be precious with your supplies. I've been using my set once nearly every week and with a little spritz of water, they haven't dried on me. As a watercolorist, I was looking for a gauche product that behaved somewhat like watercolors and was contained within its own travel box. The box and paint cups are much larger and heavier than I anticipated, but it’s not a deal breaker. I appreciate the amount of paint that comes in the wells.I made test swatches of each color. Then I made test swatches of the same color with white added. I did not notice a significant difference between the two whites included but I have not used them enough

Only ok. Arrived and half the cups were busted open. Paint dries too quick. Container is the nicest thing about this product. Ok for playing around, not for professionals.

Did not come with color chart or swatch card or brushes. Paint is creamy & colors are vivid. Each cup of paint is 30ml. Color names are printed in Chinese. Larger & heavier than expected. Good product for the price. No lightfastness information was included with paints. Good for beginners with gouache or Children.
