wow, i was impressed by the size of this set! the individual paint cups are huge- i recommend stirring each with a toothpick to get them primed for first use and, while you’re at it, create a swatch card :) i cut mine to size and it sits on the inside of the lid.as a beginner, i can say i enjoy this set a lot- the colors are so pigmented and creamy. as other reviewers mentioned, the included mixing palette does come a bit warped(?) personally, this is a nonissue as i prefer to mix on ceramic and would likely only use it while traveling (rarely seeing as, again, this thing is huge!). in addition to its size, it is also a bit messy so i wouldn’t suggest this as a travel set.overall very happy with this purchase, and i also recommend himi’s gouache/watercolor brushes!
