As a first time user with gouache I thought this would be a perfect set to practice on, the paints are very vibrant and painting with this set is really fun. Packaging is nice and I was happy with the removable palette it comes with. Downside, I'm not sure if it was the Walmart warehouse near me, or how it was stored, but when I received my set the plastic bin for it was damaged and the lid was warped. It doesn't close properly and I've noticed that after I secure the flaps, after awhile they will fling open because of the warping, Leaving my paints to eventually dry out. I think I'm going to store the container in a Ziploc to try and keep the moisture of the gouache. With this downside. I'm truly hoping this was a storing issue in the warehouse because I want to buy these again in the future when I run out. Hope you have better luck than me when it comes to the container!
