Great headlight kit for a small trailer

I installed these on a jet ski trailer that I converted into a kayak tractor. I honestly wasn't expecting much from this light kit and just bought it, it helped me get through my first summer in the field until I had time to fix the trailer in the winter. Well it's been two years now and I'm still using them as they were originally installed. After using the trailer I have decided to forgo my rehab for the future so these lights worked almost every weekend and many weekdays here and there for 2 years after installation. Guess that will change soon. I did some trailer work this spring including running the ground wire. During the work I noticed that the ground wire was badly corroded, which is not surprising. I think that will be the downfall of this light kit. Out of curiosity I checked the wire end of the ground wire and it was also corroded. Picked up the rest of the wires, they're all oxidized too. Corrosion spreads along the entire length of the wire within the insulation. I understand that there is not much that can be done about this problem in a factory at this price point. If they don't fail today, I'll buy another set. They are so good for the price. Note: I don't submerge my trailer or headlights, they work great in mud, rain and snow, but I haven't submerged them in water and don't plan to.
