Review on Clover MCI 900 Mini Iron by Dawn Fischer

I don't understand why they sent a plastic stand for the hot ironing tool. I was glad to get this iron and use it for my small iron projects. While it heats up and works well in that aspect, the overall design is flawed when not in use. The cord is so heavy compared to a real iron that it cannot rest properly on the plastic stand that comes with it. Plastic and extreme heat don't mix well. The second time I used it I placed it on the stand while making adjustments to my project and went to grab it again only to see the weight of the cord pull it from its correct position and the Stand on the iron head melted. Now it's ruined and unusable for me. I tried to gently scrape off the melted plastic but to no avail. I will look for another better option.
