Rigid and inflexible rings

I ordered these after reading reviews that said the knit rings were soft but they are not. The rings are hard and inflexible, meaning they can easily break. They are slightly thicker than most hard knitted or crocheted rings, allowing them to last longer. The assortment is good, the packaging solid. I have LOCKING markers that are solid and work best for this purpose. but for knitting RINGS going back and forth on the needles, the flexibility is better.
