This set has it all. He's fun to build, has lots of useful parts, is fun to play with, is VERY posable and super adorable! You can pick up bricks, balance them on one hand, adjust your eyes to get a variety of expressions, and roll them around! Sprockets are actually mated to regular rubber wheels, meaning the tracks will spin as you move them over smooth OR uneven ground! The light brick is integrated in each of the three models in a unique way, which can inspire you to use it in different ways! The only real issue with aesthetics and playability is the lightweight brick robotic arm. This arm looks a little short compared to the others in some poses and doesn't articulate at all at the elbow. However, this is not a big problem! In terms of details, it is obvious that the light stone is the main attraction. This is a relatively inexpensive way to get it. The sheer amount of detail in that particular shade of blue is a huge plus for me personally as it's one of my favorite LEGO colors for parts, but it's not a very common color anyway. It's also a pretty good set if you want more caterpillars/caterpillars. The Creator Set line almost always includes a variety of unusual and common items at a relatively low price, and this one is no different in that regard. I bought this kit for parts but honestly I don't want to take it apart! He is so much fun to play with and pose with and he looks adorable in the window. But if you're just looking for details, there's a lot to love!
